Part-time Practice Nurse 

Part time up to 17 hours per week (2 full days)

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals, delivering exceptional care treatment, prevention, and health promotion services.

This role has a variety of responsibilities including direct patient care, health screenings, childhood immunisations, adult immunisations, chronic disease support and wound care. We are a training practice and provide a supportive environment for learning including monthly clinical supervision with a named GP partner. Whether you're an experienced practice nurse or a newly qualified nurse we offer various opportunities for training and skill development, in a role that is both rewarding and essential to community health.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to work as part of our nursing team.

GP Partner / Salaried GP (4–8 sessions)

About the Practice

Our well-established practice consists of seven GP partners, supported by an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Physician Associate, two Practice Nurses, a Healthcare Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist, and a First Contact Physiotherapist.

Due to a forthcoming retirement and partner relocation, we are seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our team for 4–8 sessions per week (up to 12 sessions available). We are flexible and will accommodate different sessional preferences to support work–life balance.

As a training practice, we provide education and supervision for Foundation Year 2 doctors, GP specialty trainees, and medical students. There are opportunities to develop special interests and become involved in:

  • GP education and training
  • Minor surgery
  • IUD fitting

Participation in out-of-hours work is optional.

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking GP who shares our commitment to high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centred care. An interest in training, education, or minor surgery would be advantageous, though not essential. Both newly qualified and experienced practitioners are welcome to apply.
