Visiting the practice - parking and access

A large visitor car park is available at Palatine Group Practice; please only use this if you are attending the practice.  Please note the practice has implemented disc parking for all patients attending the surgery.  This is limited to 30 minutes.  If you are more than 30 minutes and receive a ticket please see the reception desk who will be able to provide proof of appointment.  This has been implemented as we wish to keep the patient car park just for patients.

Disabled spaces are situated close to the main door, near the car park entrance.  Visitors should access the practice via the main entrance.  Parking for practice staff is at the side of the building and permits should be displayed.

Please note the practice postcode refers to our old premises in central Douglas.  If using satellite navigation we would suggest using the postcode IM4 4RE.

Telephoning the practice

The practice treats incoming telephone calls as priority.  At times the lines may be very busy but we would advise callers to keep trying.  The practice admin staff endeavour to answer every call.  If you are calling for an urgent appointment it is best to call any morning at 08:30.  If your call is non-urgent it may be best to call after 10:00 unless the practice staff have advised otherwise.

It is free to call the practice, no charge is incurred.

Please note that telephone calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
