Dear Patient. We are asking patients NOT to come to the surgery at present.  Please call us and if you need a consultation this will be arranged for you as telephone call with an appropriate Clinician in the first instance.  If it is decided that you need to be seen 'face to face' this will be arranged by the Clinician in a safe, covid compliant manner.
The practice Nurses are still  carrying out a number of essential services face to face such as baby immunisations, dressings and wounds etc, hormone injections, 'at-risk' smears amongst other things  and we will explain more about what to do on your arrival to the practice if we arrange an appointment for you.  Some other services can be provided as a telephone call such as contraceptive advice or advice on chronic conditions. Please give us a call and we can work out what is best for you.
Prescriptions will be sent onto the pharmacy of your choice and even sick notes can be sent directly to Social Security on your behalf.
We are working very hard to adapt to the ever changing situation and the admin team in particular are busier than ever so please be patient when calling us. We are answering your calls as quickly as we can. Best wishes from the PGP team and hope you are all staying safe.
